One of Kollywood's biggest star, Suriya is peeved that there are so many of his fake profiles on social networking sites. These sites in the name of Suriya are giving "false updates" regarding the star and his films. Suriya told – "There are many fake profiles of mine on online platforms. The worst is that some of those profiles have regular updates on my movements, giving an impression that I am posting them.Please don't be misled by fake profiles of mine on FB & Twitter" " One of Suriya's fake Face Book account has put out news that Maatttrraan is confirmed to release on September 19. A peeved Suriya was forced to deny it as a lot of "genuine" fans of the actor thought that it was the real Suriya profile. There are many such fakes on all social networking sites masquerading as actor Suriya. One of his "fake" Twitter accounts had an astounding 1.33 lakh followers!

Actor Suriya shares his success formula

Suriya in a recent interview talked about Maattrraan and also revealed his success formula for picking winning scripts. About Maattrraan, the actor said that a lot of computer graphics were used and a lot of test shoots had to be done. He and KV Anand almost always opted for the difficult shots as they wanted to really impress the audience. The film is almost complete and there will be no need for editing or post production. The actor has the rare disntinction of being the darling of the critics as well as fans. When quizzed about this, Suriya revealed that he merely picks scripts that incorporate offbeat subjects with high entertainment value. He added that he has been lucky to get scripts like that. Actor Suriya Highest paid in Kollywood?

Suriya is doubtless one of the most bankable stars in Tamil cinema, thanks to his films that vary from one another and clean scripts that largely entertain family audience. Now that the actor is working on the biggest project of his career, Maattrraan, rumor mills have it that he is the highest paid star in the Tamil film industry! Media reports have it that the actor was paid a whooping 12 crore for Maattrraan, sans the remuneration for the Telugu rights of the film making it 20 crore plus! However sources close to the actor haven't commented about this and we can't be sure of how much of it is true and how much of it is a figment of rumor mills' imagination. Meanwhile, Subash Chandra Bose has reportedly expressed to a publication that a film with Suriya for their banner will go on floors come February 2013. Suriya currently has a number of biggies in his hand including 'Singam 2′ with Hari, 'Thupariyum Anand' with Gautham Menon among others.

Actor Suriya's Maatran is now titled Maattrraan

Tamil superstar Suriya's upcoming film, which was initially titled Maatran, has now been renamed as Maattrraan. But, it's not numerology at work. Since, Suriya is playing conjoined twins in the movie, the film is now being spelled Maattrraan, with all the letters except 'M' and 'N' being used twice. Apparently, it was director KV Anand's idea to add extra alphabets to the film's title. The filmmaker, who has given blockbusters like Ayan and Ko, is known for his smart packaging. In the meantime, preparations are in full swing for the film's audio launch to be held in Singapore on Thursday (August 9). Harris Jayaraj will be performing live at the event. Maatraan Charulatha’s Siamese twin trend in Kollywood

After Suriya's Maatran first look teaser was released by the makers, there is a buzz in Kollywood film industry as two others movies are being made with similar plot. Suriya is playing the role as Siamese twin in Maatran, while Priyamani starring Charulatha and a small movie with the title 'Iruvan' also is being made based on conjoined twins. The movie Iruvan records the first Tamil film on Siamese twins. KV Anand directing Suriya and Kajal Agarwal starrer Maatran is touted to be an action thriller that is almost done with the shooting schedules, while Priyamani's Charulatha is an adaptation of the Thai horror film Alone that has started filming in this April.
