Power Star in ‘Singam 2′!!

Power Star Srinivasan has got a huge throng of fan followers in TamilNadu and with the latest release of Santhanam's "Kannada Laddu Thinna Aasaiya", he has been bagging a lot of roles for upcoming films. Not just any films though, mostly big budget productions. The addition to that list of his is Surya's next film "Singam 2″. 

Yes! Power Star is starring in this sequel of Director Hari along with Surya, Anushka, Santhanam's, Manorama, Hansika, Radharavi and Vijaykumar. This is indeed a jackpot for the Powerstar after him also getting to appear in Shanker's "I" starring Vikram and Amy Jackson. A clever move by the team of "Singam 2″ by casting the two trending comedy artists in Kollywood, both Santhanam and Powerstar. Also, sources say that actress Anjali will be appearing for an item number in this film. Let's wait and see what this very interesting cast has to offer.

Suriya sizzles in Singam 2

Suriya sizzles on the posters of Singam 2 that were released recently. The film has been proceeding at a brisk pace for the past few months. Director Hari has been shooting with his crew in Karaikudi and Chennai for the action-packed flick. Hari is known for his speed in completing a film. 

Quiz him about his working style, he says, "I do a lot of homework before I start my shoot. I don't sit and think on the sets. I take time during the pre-production phase and that helps me to save time during the shoot. That's why I am able to wrap up the schedules fast. I value an artist's time more than anything else." 

The sequel is expected to be a complete action package from Suriya.

Singham-2 first look out!

The first look of the Suriya starrer Singam 2 is now out . 

The film's shooting has been going on at full speed in various locations across interior TN. This action packed entertainer is one of biggies to hit the screens during summer of 2013. And is directed by Hari the man with the Midas touch.

Hansika and Anushka play the female lead, while Santhanam and Vivek takes care of comedy track.The film is the sequel to Singam (2010) and will be produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. It is expected to release simultaneously in Telugu as Yamudu. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad and camera is by Priyan

Director Vasanth, who has finished the shooting of his 'Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal' is ready for the release. The director who introduced Suriya to Tamil cinema through 'Nerukku Ner' revealed that Ajith wasn't his first choice for 'Aasai'.

It is said that the director had infact approached Suriya offering to introduce him as a hero. But Suryin who was then working in the garment industry wasn't sure of jumping into films and rejected the offer, which was later pounced on by Ajith Kumar when the offer came to him following his performace in 'Amaravathi'. 

When an opportunity knocked the second time again from director Vasanth, Suriya readily accepted to star in 'Nerukku Ner' which also had Vijay playing the other lead.
